These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- Divide the dough into equal pieces.
- Press the dough pieces into a flat disk, then use a rolling pin to roll into a circle.
- Combine all remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
- Place about 1/2 cup of filling on the bottom half of each circle.
- Fold the top of the dough over and press to seal.
- Slice a small opening on the top of each calzone, to allow for steam to escape.
- Bake at 425 for 10-15 minutes, rotating the tray half way through.
