Why would I want to freeze this?
- Pulse nuts in a food processor until they are in small pieces. Some larger pieces may remain.
- Add the dates, bananas, cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Process until the mixture comes together in one large ball. You may need to add a few more dates to get the mixture to come together.
- Add the chocolate chips and pulse a few times to incorporate.
- Pinch off a small bit of mixture and roll it into a ball about the size of a small ping pong ball.
- Place balls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Flash freeze.
- Divide among the indicated number of freezer bags.
- Seal, label and freeze.
