Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Place dates, peanuts, peanut butter and cacao powder #1 in a food processor. Blend on high until you have a smooth paste that will stick together. Scrape down sides as needed.
  2. Place cacao powder #2 in a bowl. Scoop out rounded tablespoons of mixture and form into balls. Roll each ball in cacao powder. Place balls on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Flash freeze.
  4. Divide balls among indicated number of freezer bags. Seal, label and freeze.
