  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cups mince Onion, Yellow

  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chipotle Chili Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons Water

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with salt.
  2. Add chicken wings and boil for 7-8 minutes.
  3. Remove from water and pat dry.
  4. In a saucepan, mix together cola, brown sugar, onion, garlic, soy sauce and chipotle powder.
  5. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and water.
  7. Add to sauce mixture and simmer until thickened.
  8. Allow to cool.
  9. Place sauce into quart freezer bags.
  10. Place chicken wings into gallon freezer bags and place sauce bag into gallon bag. Label and freeze.

  1. Thaw: In fridge
  2. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet. Then, place wings on wire rack.
  3. Bake at 450 for 25 minutes.
  4. Baste wings with sauce and cook for 5 more minutes.
  5. Place wings on a platter and cover with rest of sauce.
