These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Place egg in a shallow bowl and bread crumbs on a plate.
  2. Cut pressed tofu lengthwise into indicated number of servings.
  3. Dip each piece of tofu in egg.
  4. Dip each piece of tofu in breadcrumbs, making sure they are entirely covered.
  5. Heat oil over medium heat.
  6. Cook each piece of tofu for 5-7 minutes on each side, until brown.
  7. Top each tofu piece with buffalo sauce.
  8. Spread blue cheese dressing on top of sandwich rolls.
  9. Serve tofu on sandwich rolls.

  1. Have you made a gluten free version of this? I have recently found out that I have a gluten sensitivity and a red meat allergy. I’m constantly looking for ways to get enough protein every day.

      Instead of bread crumbs, you could grind up almonds and cover them in the almond “flour” (if you don’t have a nut allergy of course). Gluten free sandwich rolls are pretty easy to find/make.
