Hi Elle! You are correct that if you mix this into dressing then it wouldn’t be egg-free if you used traditional mayo. However, this recipe is for the ranch seasoning mix that is often used in recipes dry. So this recipe is egg-free. This recipe for dressing isn’t tagged egg-free because as the ingredients list – mayo is used in this recipe. I hope this clears up the confusion. Thanks!
