Freeze For Later Cooking Directions
These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).
Why would I want to freeze this?
- Crumble cake into a bowl.
- Add half of the frosting and continue adding more until it easily holds its shape and rolls into balls. You may not need the entire amount.
- Roll half of the mixture into balls and half into egg shapes.
- Place on baking sheet and flash freeze for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile melt the almond bark in the microwave, stirring frequently. Thin out by adding a little vegetable oil if necessary.
- Divide into two bowls and add yellow food coloring to one bowl.
- Dip the ball shapes into the yellow coating and place on wax paper.
- Dip the egg shapes in the white bowl then place on wax paper.
- Once solid, divide among indicated number of gallon bags, label and freeze.
