Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Cut the bread loaf in slices, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. In a small bowl mash together the butter and the garlic powder.
  3. Once mixed well, spread between slices of bread loaf.
  4. Wrap loaf in foil.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake in 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until butter is melted and bread is browned.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Wrap with plastic wrap. If it fits put it in a gallon freezer bag (you may want to cut the loaf in half so it will). Label & freeze.
