These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Using a cutting board and bread knife, cut off the crusts of each slice of bread.
  2. Flatten the bread squares using a rolling pin.
  3. Spread 0.5 Tbsp of cream cheese on each bread square, followed by a slice of cheese.
  4. Roll up cheese squares.
  5. In a large skillet, heat butter.
  6. Place rolls seam side down and cook in butter for apx 5 minutes, rolling so that each side has cooked and cheese is melted.
  7. Transfer to paper towel lined cooling rack to cool for a few minutes.
