Why would I want to freeze this?
- In a skillet, saute green pepper, onion and butter until tender.
- Add all ingredients except cheese, flour and milk to crock pot and cook on low 3-4 hours or until vegetables are tender.
- Combine flour and milk until smooth; stir into crock pot.
- Allow to thicken at a low temperature for 30 min - 1 hour.
- Add the parsley and other spices.
- Just before freezing, stir in the cheese until melted.
- Let cool.
- Label & freeze.
