Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. In a skillet, saute green pepper, onion and butter until tender.
  2. Add all ingredients except cheese, flour and milk to crock pot and cook on low 3-4 hours or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Com­bine flour and milk until smooth; stir into crock pot.
  4. Allow to thicken at a low temperature for 30 min - 1 hour.
  5. Add the pars­ley and other spices.
  6. Just before freezing, stir in the cheese until melted.
  7. Let cool.
  8. Label & freeze.
