Gluten Free Dairy Free Almond Cherry Breakfast Granola

<p>Whip up a big batch of Cherry Almond Granola so that you can celebrate upcoming national cherry month! This recipe is also gluten and dairy free!</p>

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cups pit Cherry
  • 1/4 cups Agave Nectar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Milk, Canned
  • 2 cups Rolled Oats, Gluten Free
  • 1/2 cups Flaxseed, Ground
  • 1/4 cups Coconut, Flakes
  • 1/2 cups Almonds, Sliced
  • 1/2 cups dice Cherries, Dried
  • 1/4 cups Raisins, Golden

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. In a blender, puree cherries.
  2. In a bowl, combine cherry puree, agave nectar, molasses, vanilla extract, almond extract and coconut milk. Set aside
  3. In a larger bowl, combine old fashioned oats, ground flax, and coconut flakes.
  4. Gently pour cherry puree ingredients over the oats mixture, and fold until well combined.
  5. Spread granola over a parchment paper lined rimmed baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 325F for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove and mix in almonds.
  8. Return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and immediately stir in the dried cherries and golden raisins.
  10. Allow to cool completely.
