<p>These breakfast parfaits are a perfect fall treat when pears are in season. They work as an easily frozen breakfast treat as well, making breakfast fast and healthy!</p>

  • 2 cups dice Pear
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Lemon Juice

  1. In a medium bowl mix together the yogurt and ginger.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pears, cinnamon, sugar and lemon juice until the pears are well coated.
  3. In a small plastic container or cup put a 1/2 cup of the yogurt mixture, followed by a 1/2 cup of pear mixture. Repeat.

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. In a medium bowl mix together the yogurt and ginger.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pears, cinnamon, sugar and lemon juice until the pears are well coated.
  3. Divide yogurt mixture into half of indicated number of quart freezer bags.
  4. Divide pear mixture into remaining quart freezer bags.
  5. Place yogurt and pear bags into indicated number of gallon freezer bags, label and freeze.
