  • 2 1/2 cups Flour, All-Purpose
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar #1
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla #1
  • 1/4 teaspoons Lemon Extract
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar #2
  • 1/4 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla #2
  • 1/3 cups Sprinkles

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs on high speed for 3-4 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, powdered sugar #1, and baking powder.
  3. Work the cold butter in with a pastry blender.
  4. Stir in the vanilla #1 and lemon extracts until gradually crumbly.
  5. Using a mixer on low speed, gradually beat in the eggs.
  6. Roll the dough into 1″ balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 350F for 12 – 14 minutes or until very lightly browned.
  8. Cool on wire racks completely.
  9. Whisk together powdered sugar #2, milk, and vanilla #2.
  10. After cookies cool, dip the tops of them into the glaze.
  11. Place on wire racks and pour the sprinkles on top.
  12. Store in airtight container once glaze is dry.
