  1. These are the closest things to store bought granola bars I’ve tried. Great recipe! I’m going to cut down on the sugar so it’s a little healthier, but thank you SO much for a great go-to recipe!

  2. My kids LOVE these! We just became a gluten/dairy free home and these are a godsend. I followed the recipe exactly this time and they are very sweet. Next time I will use 1/4 c sugar and 1/4 c honey.

  3. These were good, even with less brown sugar. I baked them a little long, so they didn’t hold together as well. I found they were way to thin for a 13×9, and wish I had done them in a square pan. The crumbles were great over strawberries & ice cream though…. 🙂

  4. These are delicious! I was unable to get mine to stick together. I used coconut oil in place of margarine, and I simply omitted the coconut flakes (as I really do not like coconut). I am not sure if this is what caused them to fall apart? I would love some help. These are so yummy that I don’t want to switch recipes, but I really would like them to hold together more. Thanks for the help!

    1. Tina can you use corn flakes possibly instead of the coconut flakes? The coconut really helps it to stay together, omitting an ingredient like that can be tough.

  5. Just made these! Super yummy and easy. I added chia seeds to the mix and melted the chocolate into the oil mixture. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. It was my first ever attempt at granola bars and I will be using this (easy, fast and delicious) recipe frequently.
