  1. Mix olive oil, garlic, lime juice, cilantro, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Divide and pour into freezer bag with chicken.
  3. Marinate for at least one hour in refrigerator.
  4. Grill over medium high heat for about 6 minutes a side.

  1. You can freeze the cilantro- I pick it from the stem and freeze only the leaves. Then when you want some in the dead of winter you can pull it out and crumble it instead of having to chop it.

  4. Definitely adding this to my menu list! I have a cilantro chicken recipe I use for tacos and I love the idea of using this marinade to freeze the chicken ahead of time!!

  5. I made a large batch of this on my mini-cooking day without the salsa verde since I didn’t have it on hand. My entire family (kiddos included) absolutely loved it! So moist and tasty! Next batch will be with the salsa, which can only make it even more yummy.

  7. Made this yesterday. 1 batch i let marinade in the fridge for an hour and the other one I froze. I had the intentions of grilling but it rained. So I sauteed it in a cast iron skillet. Super delicious! Flavorful and moist. Definitely a keeper.
