- In an oven proof pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add in garlic, butter, carrots, celery and mushrooms and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add in beef cubes, rosemary, salt and pepper.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in beer, flour and water.
- Bring to simmer and cover.
- Place in oven at 375F for 1.5 hours.
- Stir and continue cooking for another 1 hour.
