Join the discussionDoes the rice need to be cooked before putting it in the crockpot or does it cook in the crockpot?
It cooks in the crock pot with the rest of the ingredients!
How long would you cook if you are using cauliflower rice for a low carb alternative?
Hi Kristy, if you use cauliflower rice in this dish, we would just suggest that you cook the cauliflower separately instead of in the slow cooker.
Can you suggest how to convert a recipe like this to Instant Pot? We like the instant pot recipes that use rice.
We don’t currently have an Instant Pot version of this recipe, but we do have over 200 Instant Pot recipes that include rice to our members! You can see those here: https://onceamonthmeals.com/recipes/?s=rice&tag%5B%5D=instant-pot
