  1. This recipe does not compute well in the menu. I wanted a yield of 30 servings and it has less ingredients than what is listed here.

    1. Lindsey, if I am understanding your question correctly, it sounds like you want to make a large batch of ketchup, but your menu is only directing you to make a small batch. If you want to make a larger batch separate from your menu, here is how you can do that:1) Go into Menu Builder and pick a menu and then delete all but one recipe in that menu.
      2) Swap that recipe out for the Healthy Homemade Ketchup recipe.
      3) Change the number of servings to 15 (Menu Builder automatically makes two of each recipe which will result in 30 servings). This will give you the correct measurements for your ingredients. It will not be a large change because the original recipe was for 24 servings, so you are only adding 6 more servings to that.I hope this clears up the problem for you, let us know how it goes.

      1. Hi Courtney. Thanks. But that’s exactly what I did. And the measurements in the recipe for 30 servings were less than in the recipe above. Just trying to let the right people know the conversion doesn’t work properly. I made the ketchup last night and it tasted great.

        1. Thanks for your feedback Lindsey! I’ll pass this info on to our menubuilder team.

  2. Not good. This recipe tasted like rotten tomato paste. I will spend the extra dollar at the store and buy the whole 30 ketchup.

    1. Rachel, I’m so sorry to hear your ketchup didn’t turn out how you were expecting. Was there anything specific you did not like about the taste (not enough cinnamon, too much vinegar, etc)? Ingredients can be adjusted to find the taste you’re looking for! If you decide to try again, we’d love to hear what you did differently.
