Holiday Ham Balls - Dump and Go Dinner

<p>For people like me who don't like to eat or cook a lot of ham this is a fun and tasty small side dish. The glaze completes the dish and gives you that perfect taste to the holidays!</p>

Ingredients

  • 2 individual Egg
  • 2 cups crush Crackers, Saltine (Square)
  • 2 pounds Ground Ham
  • 1 pound Ground Pork
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 7 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar #1
  • 2 teaspoons Mustard Seed, Ground
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar #2

  1. In a large bowl, combine the eggs and cracker crumbs.
  2. Crumble ham and pork over mixture and mix well.
  3. Shape into 1-1/2-in. balls.
  4. Place into indicated number of greased baking pans.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
  6. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, vinegar #1 and mustard.
  7. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
  8. Mix vinegar #2 with cornstarch, then add to glaze and boil until thickened (about 10 minutes.)
  9. Drain ham balls; drizzle with syrup mixture, serve extra glaze on the side.
