Make It Now Cooking Directions
Oven Cook
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- Spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine coconut milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir continuously until the sugar has dissolved in the milk, then set aside.
- Using a double boiler or make your own with 2 pots( one filled with water), melt dark chocolate then set aside.
- Once hazelnuts are done toasting, place them inside a damp dish towel and rub gently to remove as much of the skin as possible.
- Place hazelnuts in food processor and process until they become a very fine meal.
- Add melted dark chocolate and process again until smooth.
- Next add in coconut milk mixture and process until it is smooth and the texture of nutella.
