Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 4 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the bbq sauce #2 and water.
  3. Shape the meat into a loaf that will fit into the Instant Pot with 1/2 inch margin on each side.
  4. Place the meatloaf on top of a large piece of foil. This will support the meatloaf in the Instant Pot and also act as handles for removal.
  5. Add the trivet and minimum amount of water needed for your Instant Pot (1- 1.5 cups).
  6. Place the meatloaf inside the Instant Pot and top with bbq sauce #2.
  7. Lock lid into place and seal steam nozzle.
  8. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
  9. Quick release pressure.
  10. Ensure the meatloaf has reached 155 degrees. If not, replace the lid and add an additional 5 minutes of cooking time.
