yes. you can cut back on it a bit 1/4 cup total. it adds to the bbq flavor with the mustard and ketchup. i also add wooster sauce and a splash of liquid snoke.
Is it supposed to be liqidy? I followed the recipe to a t.
It will be a bit liquidy as the water added to cook and come to pressure will make that happen but it will thicken up a bit.
