Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 4 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
  2. Mix together garlic powder, sage, thyme, sea salt, and black pepper in a small bowl, and set aside.
  3. Using a paper towel, pat dry the short ribs and rub spice blend over all surfaces of ribs. Set aside.
  4. Add tomato sauce and balsamic vinegar to the inner pot.
  5. Add cherries, garlic, mushrooms, pearl onions, and beef stock, and stir to mix well.
  6. Add short ribs to inner pot, making sure to cover all the ribs with sauce.
  7. Lock lid into place and seal steam nozzle. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
  8. Let pressure release naturally for 5 minutes then release any remaining pressure.
