Why would I want to freeze this?
- Divide corned beef among indicated number of freezer bags.
- Divide water, onion chunks, garlic cloves, bay leaves, peppercorns, allspice and thyme into indicated number of round containers. Label and freeze.
Make From Frozen Serving Day Directions
These directions help you cook or reheat this meal AFTER it's been frozen for when you are ready to eat it.
- Thaw: Prep from frozen
- **Depending on your container size/shape and your serving size, you may need to adjust cooking times given as it is based on 4 servings frozen in a 64 ounce container.**
- Place frozen contents into inner pot.
- Lock cover into place and seal steam nozzle.
- Cook on high pressure for 90 minutes.
- Naturally release of pressure for 10 minutes and then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Remove corned beef from pot and cover with foil.
- Cut cabbage into wedges and add to the pot.
- Add potatoes and carrots to liquid and lock lid in place.
- Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Natural release for 5 minutes then quick release any remaining pressure.
