Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 6 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
  2. Combine together the ground chicken, almond flour, salt, garlic and green onion.
  3. Place the coconut oil in a small dish. Lightly grease your hands with the coconut oil and form 2 inch meatballs from the chicken mixture.
  4. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium high heat.
  5. Brown the meatballs on all sides working in batches if necessary.
  6. Mix together the barbecue sauce and honey.
  7. Place the meatballs in the Instant Pot. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.
  8. Lock the lid in place and seal the steam nozzle.
  9. Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
  10. Quick release the pressure.
  11. Let cool.
  12. Divide the meatballs among the indicated number of freezer bags.
  13. Label and freeze.
