Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 8 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
  2. Season the wings with salt and place in the Instant Pot with the water.
  3. Lock the lid in place and seal the steam nozzle.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, place the avocado oil, honey, sriracha, garlic, aminos and lime juice in a blender and mix until well blended. Set aside.
  6. Natural release the pressure for 10 minutes and release any remaining pressure.
  7. Remove the wings and place on a cooling rack to drain. Press dry between paper towels.
  8. Dump wings and sauce into a large bowl. Mix until the wings are well coated.
  9. Line a baking sheet with foil and lay the wings on the baking sheet.
  10. Broil for 5 minutes, or until crispy.
  11. Flip the wings and broil for another 3-5 minutes.
  12. Let cool.
  13. Divide the wings among the indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
