Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 12 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
  2. Place all of the ingredients in the Instant Pot. Stir well to distribute the seasonings.
  3. Lock the lid in place and seal the steam nozzle.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 8 minutes.
  5. Quick release the pressure.
  6. Stir the sauce and use an immersion blender to puree the ketchup. A traditional blender can be used with the top of the lid vented, pureeing in batches.
  7. Once blended, place the Instant Pot on saute and adjust to low saute. Let the ketchup reduce for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Divide into 1 cup portions among the indicated number of pint freezer bags.
  10. Label and freeze.
