Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 6 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
  2. Sprinkle turkey with salt and pepper.
  3. Set Instant Pot to saute and melt ghee.
  4. Add turkey breast and brown on all sides.
  5. Remove from pan.
  6. Add onion, carrot and celery to pan and cook until softened.
  7. Stir in garlic and sage and cook another minute.
  8. Add in broth and cook until slightly reduced, about 3 minutes.
  9. Add in broth and bay leaves.
  10. Let cool.
  11. Divide turkey among indicated number of round containers.
  12. Pour sauce and vegetables over turkey breast, seal, label and freeze.
