Make It Now Cooking Directions
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 4 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
- Combine all the ingredients in a glass oven-safe bowl. Mix well.
- Add the trivet and minimum amount of water needed for your Instant Pot (1- 1.5 cups).
- Place the bowl on the trivet, lock the lid into place and seal steam nozzle.
- Cook on high pressure for 6 minutes.
- Quick release the pressure.
- Serve warm.

Join the discussionAfter making my first cooking/freeze day and enjoying the process and ease of dinners, I’m ready to explore breakfasts.
Is this a single meal for 4 servings? Or, is it one that will be two meals for 4 servings (totaling 8 servings)? Just needing clarification as I don’t see the “split among container” comment as usual.
Also, has anyone attempted to make these in smaller single serve type glass bowls? Like a custard dish size? Would be easier for us as it is just my 6 year old and myself. May try this!
I made this today. It was very good. I only used 1/8 cup brown sugar and it was sweet enough; next time, I’ll probably use less. (Maple syrup can always be added later, after all.) Six min wasn’t enough time at pressure, so I recommend doing 10.
Cleanup was so much easier than when I cook directly in the instant pot.
