Why would I want to freeze this?
- Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt #1 and black pepper #1. Place on baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, until crisp tender.
- Place the quiona, chicken, broth, salt #2, pepper #2, parsley, thyme, basil, garlic powder, and lemon juice in Instant Pot.
- Lock lid into place and seal steam nozzle.
- Cook on high pressure for 1 minute.
- Natural release pressure.
- Fluff with a fork and stir in peas and pesto.
- Let both quinoa mixture and asparagus cool.
- Divide quinoa mixture among gallon bags and asparagus among quart bags. Seal, label and freeze.
