Freeze For Later Cooking Directions
These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).
Why would I want to freeze this?
- **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 8 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
- Place a trivet and 2 cups of water into the Instant Pot.
- Line a cake pan that fits inside the Instant Pot with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
- Combine the eggs and sugar until smooth.
- Add the oil, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt. Beat on low for 1 minute.
- Mix the flour into the wet ingredients a small bit at a time.
- Fold in the nuts and pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Using a foil sling, lower the dish down into the Instant Pot.
- Lock the lid in place and seal the steam nozzle.
- Cook on high pressure for 24 minutes.
- Quick release the pressure.
- Remove the baking dish from the Instant Pot and let cool.
- Cut the brownies into individual servings.
- Divide among the indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
