Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Sauté the bacon over medium heat until almost crispy.
  2. Mix in the garlic, jalapeños and flour.
  3. Stir constantly until the roux has slightly browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Reduce the temperature to low and stir in the milk, cream cheese, cumin, paprika and cayenne.
  5. Whisk and turn the heat back up to medium.
  6. Stir constantly, until the mixture begins to boil.
  7. Remove from the heat. Adjust seasoning with the salt and pepper.
  8. Toss the wings with the sauce.
  9. Let cool.
  10. Divide among the indicated number of freezer bags.
  11. Seal, label and freeze.
