    1. Yes, I think you could use a rice cooker for the rice. Add the ingredients that are listed for cooking but leave out the sugar and cilantro as directed in the original recipe until the end. Let me know how it turns out!

      1. I tried cooking this rice on the stovetop & burnt it. Then i tried in my rice cooker & almost burnt it as well. I was not having very good luck. But i salvaged it & it was great. I think leftovers tasted better then the day of. I really need a new rice cooker. Thanks for a great recipe! I am really enjoying my dinners from here.

  1. I made this for my family last night including my 2 year old (minus the jalepenos), and they said it was the best pork chop they had ever had!! The rice was a nice compliment to the pork chop, and everyone was happy for sure – I will definitely be making this again.
