Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 ½ cups cook Ground Beef
  • 15 fluid ounces Pizza Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Basil, Dried
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, Dried
  • 16 ounces Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Freezer Containers

  • 1 Gallon Freezer Bag

Supplies

  • Cooking Sprays
  • Baking Sheets

Directions

In a skillet, over medium heat, combine browned ground beef, pizza sauce, basil and oregano. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Unroll crescent rolls, and top each piece of dough with apx 2 Tbsp of meat/sauce mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Roll crescent roll over filling and tuck in the edges. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 12- 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Freezing Directions

In a skillet, over medium heat, combine browned ground beef, pizza sauce, basil and oregano. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Unroll crescent rolls, and top each piece of dough with apx 2 Tbsp of meat/sauce mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Roll crescent roll over filling and tuck in the edges. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 12- 15 minutes or until golden brown. Flash freeze. When frozen, divide among indicated number of gallon freezer storage bags. Label and freeze.

Serving Day Directions

Reheat in microwave for 1 minute or until heated through.
