  • 2 1/2 cups dice Bell Pepper, Red
  • 2 cups Mango, Chunks
  • 2 cups peel, pit, and dice Avocado

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Combine ground turkey, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper and salsa in large pan on stovetop.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
  3. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Place approximately 1/4 cup of rice on plate, the top with turkey and salsa mixture.
  5. Finally, top with fresh vegetable and fruit mixture as desired.

  3. Combine pepper, avocados and mangoes in remaining freezer bags, removing as much air as possible.
  4. Label and freeze.

  2. Heat turkey mixture in a skillet over med-high heat for 10-12 minutes or until heated through.
