  • 1 ⅓ cups peel and slice Banana
  • 1 individual Pie Crust, 9-inch, Frozen

Microwave

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Combine sugar, flour, and salt in deep glass mixing bowl.
  2. Add egg yolks and milk, then beat with a whisk until smooth.
  3. Microwave at full power 8 minutes, stirring 3 times. (I set the microwave for 2-minute intervals.)
  4. Remove from microwave, and stir in vanilla and butter.
  5. Place sliced bananas in bottom of the baked pie shell.
  6. Pour filling into pie shell on top of bananas.

    1. Hi Donna, We don’t have a recipe for the meringue topping but the secret is in letting the egg whites get to room temperature before beating! Oh! And use a glass or stainless steel bowl!
