These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar until creamy with mixer. Add in egg whites, vanilla, bananas and applesauce. Mix together.
  2. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Gently add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Warm up the hazelnut spread in the microwave for 30 seconds until it is softened.
  5. Pour the banana bread batter into a bread pan. Then slowly spoon the nutella on top and swirl it into the bread batter using a knife.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until cooked through.
