These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar until creamy with mixer. Add in egg whites, vanilla, bananas and applesauce. Mix together.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Warm up the hazelnut spread in the microwave for 30 seconds until it is softened.
- Pour the banana bread batter into a bread pan. Then slowly spoon the nutella on top and swirl it into the bread batter using a knife.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until cooked through.
