Join the discussionI make a version of this and it’s delicious! I add in mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, and baby spinach! Must eat all the veggies π
The addition of the veggies sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing!
Any suggestions on what to serve with this? I was thinking steamed cabbage but am looking for other options. Thanks!
Shanna – This is a hearty skillet meal, but I do like your idea of cabbage. I would probably serve with a lettuce/greens salad or a fruit salad.
I served mine with cauliflower rice and it was perfect.
What is ‘Marinara a la Seaton’? Is it just spaghetti sauce?
Yes, Bethany. That is a recipe for homemade marinara sauce.
Fabulous recipes!
Do you reheat frozen or thawed? I’m assuming thawed but wondering if you could reheat frozen in a pinch?
For food safety it’s best to reheat thawed. Enjoy!
I used low fat ground pork from my Father-in-lawβs farm did the spinach so good and filling too good on these nights that are below freezing out side
Do I need to drain the beef and veggies before the marinara sauce?
We cooked this without draining, but you are welcome to drain off any excess fat before adding the marinara sauce if you prefer. π
