Join the discussionI put a review of your site (which I LOVE!) on my blog! http://illumiface.wordpress.co…
What a great review! Thanks Jenny!!
Can you give me some examples of what to serve this with? Veggies? I’m new to the paleo thing and this looks delicious
Krystle – Any side of veggies would be delicious. We like to stir fry up cabbage in some coconut oil for these meatballs. Here are a few links to recipes that would be suitable as well. https://onceamonthmeals.com/gar… https://onceamonthmeals.com/pal… https://onceamonthmeals.com/spi…
I kicked off 90 days of paleo today, and these were AMAZING! I made them with roasted asparagus — just put in the oven @ 400 with a little coconut oil, roast until tender and then top with a few toasted seasame seeds (and use the extra glaze for sauce…mmmm!).I will definitely be making these again!
So glad to hear you enjoyed! Let us know how your 90 days of Paleo goes.
On the ingredient list for the glaze, cinnamon is listed, but in the instructions, it says nutmeg. Just wondering which one it is. Thanks!
Thanks for catching that! I have updated to reflect the correct – cinnamon.
I baked these for almost 30 minutes at 400, the outside were nice and crunchy, but the insides were still very soft and seemed like the turkey wasnt cooked all the way…. What did I do wrong? 🙁 I think they were plenty small, I got about 30-35 meatballs.
Hannah, ovens vary greatly, so it wouldn’t be odd if your meatballs take longer. They need to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees for safety. It’s not uncommon for me to cook turkey meatballs for 45 minutes here. Another thing to keep in mind is that they will cook a little further once you reheat them in the microwave or stove top or oven.
Hi! This looks great. What do you recommend as a substitute for almond flour since I am allergic to almonds? I can have other nuts!
Hazelnut Flour or Coconut Flour? Pretty much any other Paleo approved flour will work well. Enjoy!
