  1. This is one of my favorite recipes! I happened to have some leftover roasted poblanos and onions that I threw in, that worked out great. This has become a healthy staple in our household. Thank you!

    1. It could be a little spicy but if you add a little apple cider vinegar that can help cut the heat. Or just lessen the amount used.

      1. Wow! Never heard of that! I love the flavor the spicy stuff adds, just not the burn. I hated to leave it out so thank you!

    2. If you have young children you should not add the jalapenos until you’ve molded the patties for the kids, when done with that then add the jalapenos for those that like the heat.

    1. No grill, no problem. You can certainly fry these in a skillet. I also have a handy dandy grill pan that I use stovetop.

  2. When using any hot peppers remember to remove all seeds before adding to recipes. Most of the :heat” is in those seeds.

  3. Made these tonight and they are now one of our favorites!! Would be an awesome recipe to make for company over too! Thank you!

  4. SO GOOD! This will be my new go to for Ckn Burgers! I used 2 lbs of ground chicken and it partied 7 BIG patties! Cooked them one the stove top- took a little longer about 7 to 8 mins each side. Also threw on a slice of cheese the last min. Thanks for the great recipe!

  5. LOVE these! We love spicy so add 1 extra jalepeno (no seeds). Does anyone know nutritional information? Calories, fat grams? Have to track mine for a little bit. Thanks!

      1. The calorie count on these burgers seems insanely high if ground chicken is really the only main ingredient. The other items are pretty much zero calories. if using ground chicken breast, 6 oz of ground chicken breast would only be 165 calories so these are 200 calories each at most. What am I missing?

    1. Ashley, to be really paleo I sometimes sandwich between two thick slices of sweet potato, but if you tend to lean towards just a gluten free option try these: http://againstthegraingourmet….. Cheese is not Paleo, but if you want the healthiest option, you could choose a raw milk cheese, from a grass fed animal.

  6. Was this recipe changed? I remember it being different and telling you how many burgers it should make. Also remember it making a lot more.

    1. Tricia- have you cooked this recipe on it’s own before or as part of a menu? If it’s been part of a menu then it would be automatically doubled, yielding a lot more burgers. For servings:
You’ll see the servings,4, listed at the top of the page and at the bottom under nutrition facts you’ll see serving size is 1 burger.

  7. hi, do you think lettuce or tomatoes or pickles will taste nice with this as a whole burger? and what type of sauces would you recommend? I also understand if this is best eaten without sauce. thanks in advance

    1. That depends on your taste buds and if you’re eating Paleo or just like the recipe 🙂 let us know what you decide and how it tastes!

    1. It’s ground chicken and we recommend buying already ground. But if you’re grounding it yourself, it doesn’t matter. Happy cooking!

    1. We haven’t had these baked, but I think if you preheat the oven to 350 degrees, you should bake about 20 minutes, ()or until an internal temperature of 160 degrees). Let us know how they turn out!
