- Season meat liberally with spices, rubbing to coat.
- Place pork in slow cooker. Add yellow onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk remaining ingredients then pour over pork.
- Cook in slow cooker on low for 6 hours.
- Remove pork and shred.
- Return to slow cooker and continue to cook for an additional 20 minutes on low.
