Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Place all ingredients except apples in slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  3. During last 30 minutes of cooking, add apples. Cook until tender.

Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Divide all ingredients except apples among indicated number of gallon freezer bags.
  2. Divide apples among quart freezer bags. Fill with water to cover apples (keeps them from browning). Attach to bag with pork, label and freeze.
