Why would I want to freeze this?
- In a bowl, mix together jam, mustard, pepper and vinegar until blended.
- Score ham with knife by making several crisscross cuts on top of ham about 1/8 inch deep.
- Wrap ham in plastic wrap and foil and divide into indicated number of gallon freezer bag.
- Divide sauce into indicated number of quart freezer bag. Label both and freeze.
Make From Frozen Serving Day Directions
These directions help you cook or reheat this meal AFTER it's been frozen for when you are ready to eat it.
- Thaw: In fridge
- Place ham in foil lined baking pan.
- Reserve half of sauce to be served with ham. Brush ham with some of sauce.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, basting with more sauce every 15 minutes.
- Thinly slice ham and serve with reserved sauce.
