please email response if possible…I am always confused by this…do I put ingredients in bag assembled but raw to freeze or do i cook first, cool and assemble and then cook in crockpot again?
Yes, you put them in the bag assembled but raw. Then freeze, thaw, dump in crockpot! That’s it!
Thanks for the clarification. I had assumed that you cooked the pork and put the pulled pork with sauce into the freezer. That way – nothing to cook when you pulled it out!
What would be a whole foods substitute for the root beer?
Christine you could find a more natural root beer such as Boylan’s, Zevia or Blue Sky. Look for as little ingredients as possible.
