Shredded Pork Tostadas

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Pork Roast
  • ½ cups Orange Juice
  • ¼ cups juice Lime
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons seed and dice Jalapeño
  • 3 teaspoons mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • ½ teaspoons Chili Powder
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • Serving Day Ingredients

    These ingredients are added AFTER your meal has been frozen — for the day you serve and eat it.

  • 12 individual Tostada Shells
  • 1 ½ cups chop Lettuce, Leaf
  • 1 ½ cups dice Tomato
  • 1 ½ cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Add pork roast, orange juice, lime juice, water, jalapeno, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper to slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Remove pork and shred.
  4. Serve pork on top of tostadas and garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.

  1. Add pork roast, orange juice, lime juice, water, jalapeno, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper to slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Remove pork and shred.
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Divide into indicated number of quart freezer bags, label and freeze.
