Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Place lid and cover tightly.
  4. Turn the heat down to low and cook for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid and stir once to ensure no water remains.
  6. Allow to cool.
  7. Once cool, divide among indicated number of bags, label & seal.
