  1. Place all ingredients into slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  3. Remove cinnamon sticks.
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Use a potato masher to smash the cooked apples into applesauce.
  6. Divide among indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
