Why would I want to freeze this?
- Mix together flour, salt and pepper in a shallow plate.
- Dredge the roast.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Brown beef roast on all sides until browned.
- Remove roast and set aside.
- Add garlic and shallots in same pan and cook about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in beef broth, scraping up all bits from bottom of pan.
- Place roast in gallon freezer bags.
- Cover with garlic, shallots and beef broth.
- Add in balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
- Label and freeze.
