Slow Cooker BBQ Bacon Apple Chicken

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Tomato Paste
  • 3 tablespoons Molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Aminos
  • 2 teaspoons mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • ½ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 ¼ cups dice Onion
  • 4 cups dice Apple
  • 8 individual Bacon
  • 2 pounds Chicken, Boneless Breasts

  1. In a bowl, combine tomato paste, molasses, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, coconut aminos, garlic, smoked paprika, Dijon mustard, and sea salt.
  2. Stir in diced onion and apples.
  3. Wrap bacon slices around chicken breasts and place in the bottom of a slow cooker. Top with BBQ mixture.
  4. Turn slow cooker on low and cook 6-8 hours.

  2. Stir in diced onion and apples.
  3. Wrap bacon slices around chicken breasts and place in the bottom of a slow cooker. Top with tomato mixture
  4. Turn slow cooker on low and cook 6-8 hours.
  5. Turn slow cooker off and let cool.
  6. Divide into indicated number of freezer bags, label and freeze.
